What is intimate partner violence?

Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) includes behaviors in romantic relationships—past or present—that result in physical, sexual, or psychological harm.

IPV can occur in all types of relationships—monogamous, polyamorous, heterosexual, or LGBTQIA+ and is not limited by gender, socioeconomic status, or race.

 This training does not currently offer continuing education units (CEUs). However, we are actively working toward CEU accreditation and hope to offer them in the future. We encourage you to check back on this page for updates! 


 This training is offered in both in-person and live virtual (synchronous) formats. At this time, we do not offer an asynchronous (on-demand) option.  


 

Yes, this workshop includes a set of thoughtfully curated resources to support continued learning and integration. Participants will receive:

  • A comprehensive resource list with relevant articles, books, and tools
     
  • A reflection and journal prompt to deepen personal insight
     
  • An implementation worksheet to help apply key concepts in real-world settings
     

These materials are designed to enhance the training experience and encourage meaningful growth beyond the workshop.


 

Kind Minds Collective provides mental health services in the state of California, including psychotherapy delivered by licensed clinicians, along with non-clinical offerings such as concierge case coordination, workshops, trainings, and speaking engagements. Therapeutic services are provided by appointment only and may be offered on a private-pay basis or be eligible for insurance coverage or reimbursement depending on the provider and service type.
